Communication Without Belief

This week we'll have a special lecture on a subject outside the course topics. We'll discuss atheistic prayer, and more generally, whether it's metaphysically possible or possibly rational to engage in communicative acts without believing there's someone you're communicating to. We'll also look at the extent to which doubt both metaphysically and rationally constrains our actions more broadly.
