SHIEVA
KLEINSCHMIDT
Associate Professor and
Director of Undergraduate Studies
University of Southern California
Basic Information
I received my Ph.D. from New York University in 2011, after receiving my B.A. from Western Washington University and spending 2 years of graduate school at Rutgers University.
My primary research areas are Metaphysics and Philosophy of Religion. Within Metaphysics, I am most interested in Mereology, Ontology, Time, Location, and Modality. I have also done research in Philosophical Linguistics and Aesthetics, and have begun research on Abuse. For more information on what I'm working on, you can visit my Research Page.
If you'd like to see me in action, you can find me on YouTube here. And audio recordings of some of my talks are here, here, here, here, here, and here.
Currently I'm excited about finishing my book on parts across space and time, and organizing a conference on Metaphysics and Feminism.
